Paul Quarrington, winner of the Governor General's award for fiction for Whale Rider, treated his audience to a preview reading of sections from his next novel following Galveston.
Also, Antanas Sileika read from his first novel, Women in Bronze, which tells the story of Tomas, a sculptor who flees the chaos of a 1917 Lithuanian province to seek his fortune in post-war Paris.
